Chandler has low vision, yet uses his remaining vision very well. He can distinguish faces and can see enough to pick up small items from the ground. Chandler can also sign several words, such as “eat” and “more”. When on the swings, Chandler often has a huge smile on his face and uses his hands to communicate that he wants more.
Chandler likes to play, especially with the cars. Because he loves them so much, his caregivers are now using them to help him learn new concepts. He also likes to play with toys that make music and light up.
When he’s not feeling well, he likes to lay down on a bean bag or in a teacher’s lap and listen to songs on the radio. Sometimes, he can be a little bit mischievous! One day when his teachers weren’t looking, he found a pen and drew all over the wall! He also moves very fast and sometimes tries to sneak extra snacks, so his teachers have to be on the lookout. Chandler also loves to jump on the trampoline. Even if he falls, he thinks it’s hilarious. Chandler loves to spin and likes to play on the piano. He really enjoys books with cartoons and enjoys story time. He has a May 2011 birthday and lives in our Zhengzhou center.
